Sponsorship Opportunities with Rockingham Colliery Cricket Club
Please allow me to introduce our cricket club. Rockingham Colliery CC was founded in 1874 and we are self financed community club, playing at a level well beyond our means. Our First Team competes in the South Yorkshire Division 1 Cricket League, but we also have teams in the South Yorkshire Division 3, Rotherham Advertiser Mid-Week League. Further to this, we have junior teams playing at Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 age groups.
To sustain our ever-increasing membership we are looking for a major club sponsor. Our vision is that we can work with you in partnership, to build your business and help us achieve further sporting success.
Sponsorship opportunities range from:
Match Balls
Your Company will be advertised on the match day Sponsors board at the ground as well as the clubs internet site. During the Season we appear in the Barnsley Chronicle, South Yorkshire Times, Sheffield Star and Yorkshire Post newspapers on a weekly basis. If you did attend the match on the day you sponsored the ball we will provide you with 2 complimentary lunches.
Ground Advertising
You will be allocated an area on the ground's perimeter fence where an advertising board (7ft x 3ft)will be displayed. Our ground is situated at a prime site, just off Junction 36 of the M1 motorway a major route between Barnsley, Sheffield & Manchester
Kit Sponsorship
This sponsorship covers the cost of shirts which includes your Company's logo either embroidered or screen printed on every team shirt.

We will display your company logo and add a link to your own website on our own incredibly popular internet site, currently ranked as the 3rd most popular cricket club internet site in the country (PitcHero managed sites).
Electronic Scoreboard
We need to upgrade our current scoreboard and the new one will have and area dedicated to advertise your company. We will also display you company logo and link to website on our web site.
Pitch Covers
The current pitch covers need replacing; your logo will be displayed on the covers. The covers are used prior, during and after all matches and when the ground is not in use to protect the surface. We will also display you company logo and link to website on our web site.

Awards Ceremonies.
Following our success during 2010, our club was nominated for the "Team of the Year" award, at the prestigious South Yorkshire Sports Awards where we were narrowly beaten by the Sheffield "Sharks' a professional Basketball Team. Following a ceremony at the Metrodome Barnsley in March 2011 we were crowned "The Senior Team Of The Year" in the Barnsley Sports Awards 2010 .
Coaching for Schools
Already this year the club has been proactive and started a programme of coaching for schools in the local area which attracts further exposure, both locally and regionally.
