Rockingham Colliery Cricket Club

In's and Out's

Both player's return to the club after having brief spells at Treeton and Worsbrough respectively.

Matthew comes to the club after a very successful season with Treeton, scoring over 700 runs for the club in 2011. He will open the innings along with Danny Wright who as been given the chance after a few successful season's in the 2nd team.

Dave will captain the second team and hopefully bring some bite to the top of there batting order. Dave is looking to strengthen with some youth and use is vast experience to aid them progress to 1st team cricket.

The club can confirm the departure of Kevin Linney, Chris Bond and Andrew Baker. Linney and Bond have been lured by the money on offer at Wombwell while Baker as a great opportunity to play for a top 5 premier club in Wickersley. We wish them all success for 2012.

We are looking forward to a great season for both teams, we also hope to see parents and juniors supporting at the Rock on matchdays.

Good luck to all old and new at The Rock this season. But I think the "offer of money" is way wide of the mark, Mark!!!!!
