Shane, who is a left arm pace bowler and quality batsman will bring further bite to the side who finished last season as runners up in the A Division. After leaving behind grade cricket for a new life in the UK in 2006, he has played for New Rover and Calverley in the Airedale and Wharfedale League. He hit an unbeaten 56 and took 7-36 on debut for New Rover on his way to winning the League C Division bowling award that season. The highlight of 2006 being taking all 10 wickets against Ben Rhydding, one more than in his last game in Australia, when taking 9-17 in a Grade A Final. An accomplished batsman who has scored numerous half centuries and triple figures for Calverley on more than one occasion.
