Update - Ongoing Grounds Work
The Grounds Team have been working very hard over the last 18 months to try and make RGP the best ground in Essex.
However we could always use more help in bringing this projects to fruition.
You may have skills that you can offer or alternatively you may know of a pot of funding within your organisation which may be able to offer assistance. Either way please speak to Kevin Butler Head Grounds & Facilities Manager at maylands1967@yahoo.co.uk or alternatively on 07961 381157
A big 'thank you' to all the membership for your corporation and patience with the Grounds development and flood light upgrading this season.
The list of the ongoing works are - :
Work has started on the new pathways out to the new hard stand in front of the 1st team pitch.
Unfortunately from now we will have to keep all training off the 1st team pitch due to the weather and general conditions.
The new seeded section of the 1st team pitch will be verty drained and 40 ton of sand spread through,also grass seed will also be spread through the new developed playing area.
Anyone wishing to advertise there business on the barriers around the 1st team pitch or no of anyone who wishes to do so please contact Martin Webb or Kevin Butler.
Our club is run by volunteers and although we have a long and list of people who already give up vast amounts of their free time to carry out maintenance on the club - we always need more.
It is your club, and everything we have is reinvested back into the facilities, the kit, the equipment and providing all the services necessary to keep RGP at the top of its game.
So don't be shy, don't hide your light under a bush - step forward and put your hand up if you can spare some time
