Charity Cycle Ride 2012 Update

Saturday July 7th 2012 - the annual RRFC cycle ride!!

Course marked out - the easiest cycle ride yet (apart from a couple of nasty hills in the middle!) and fundraising page open. Please give generously

Meet 9am @ clubhouse; depart 10am; route maps to all; support vehicles; drinks and bananas; re-convene Cromwell Arms to wait for everyone to catch up; Civic reception and photos in the town square; crack straight in to BBQ and drinks back at the clubhouse afterward!

Event entry, route maps, souvenir t-shirt, party entry, BBQ food, snacks and drinks, and complimentary post-race commemorative photo are all covered by your £30 entry fee - held from last year's price!

The route is going to be out-and-back from Romsey, over approximately 75 miles. We'll kick off at 10am, from the clubhouse. Heading North West past Tytherley before venturing on in to deepest Dorset. Our way home brings us via Fordingbridge and the New Forest back in to Romsey from the West. The half-route will follow for the first 15 miles, then head back to the Cromwell.

Needless to say, after a decent wash (and optional application of vaseline to sore bits), we'll all be off back to the club for an evening of celebratory lucozade sports and a party in to the early hours.
