Stafford Progress into Round 2
Romulus fell at the first hurdle in the Walsall Senior Cup.
Stafford's Matt Buckham struck twice in the opening ten minutes of the 2nd period as Stafford progressed to Round 2 of the Walsall Senior Cup.
Romulus missed their fair share of chances in the first period before Buckham grabbed the 1st goal with suspission of offside, a neat back post volley netted his and Stafford's second soon after.
Substitute Marvin Johnson converted a Rob Evans long throw with 25 minutes to play but Stafford held on for a place in Round 2.
