Bad weekend for the Main
Both teams lose tough tests
Last weekend was a poor one for the Mains teams, both losing in important games.
The 1st XI when down 1-5 at home against Hallam. Will McGhie equalised at 1-1 in the first half before Shaun Pendleton was dismissed for two yellow cards. Then Hallam got four second half goals (two in the last 3 minutes) to see off the Main.
The 2nd XI visited Crofton Sports of the wakefield League in the Sheffield Cup Qaurter finals. The game had been cancelled the week before. The Main lost 2-1 and go out of the competition.
