The 2nd XI travlled to play Kinsley boys in a must win game if they wanted to stay in touch with league leaders Sutton. To give themselves any chance of winning the title the Main need to win all remaining games (including beating Sutton) and for Sutton to lose another game in their run in, as they have played one less with a three point lead.

Striker Eric McMillan got his first goals for the club when he picked up a brace. That wasn't enough to see the Main past a resistant Kinsley side, but a 14th goal of the season for captain Niall Doyle was!

Doyle hit during injury in a dramatic finish that keeps the Main in touching distance of Sutton!

Next up for the Main is Swinton away on Saturday 21st April. Then the Main travel to Hatfield under the lights on Tuesday May 1st....and then they play Sutton at home!!
