Stornoway trip
Travel arrangements for Stornoway trip
The U18 Team will be travelling to Stornoway to fulfill a Caledonia League Div 2 North fixture. The game has been brought forward to avoid a clash with Scotland vs Tonga fixture 24th November.
Transport
We will be travelling on the Ullapool-Stornoway Ferry.
Sat 27th: Depart Ullapool 1025 Arrive Stornoway 1310
Sun 28th: Depart Stornoway 1430 Arrive Ullapool 1715
We will not be taking a minibus across as this would add another £350 to the cost of the trip so are seeking parental help in getting players to/from Stornoway.The costs of ferry travel will be met by the Club.
Check-in closes at 0955 so everyone should aim to be there for no later than 0930.
Additional Information
The weather forecast is for showers and it will be cold (7°C) so players should take appropriate clothing for the conditions (fleeces/waterproof jackets/etc). The Club will be relaxing the normal shirt-and-tie rule.
The Club will expect a certain level of behaviour on this trip and there will be a team meeting to make sure everyone understands what is, and isn’t acceptable.
All parents and players will receive a copy of details for the trip including accommodation, H&S, and emergency contact information.
