With a busy festival and tournament season about to start and with playing numbers increasing weekly, Ross Sutherland RFC P6-7 squad are delighted that ‘The STOREHOUSE’ have come on board as main strip sponsors.
The two year deal was formally announced last Saturday at ‘The STOREHOUSE' when many of the players and family gathered for soup and sandwiches.
Club President Alan Mclean commented: “Without sponsors it would be impossible to attend as many festivals as we do, and it’s imperative that our young players get as much game time as possible. Alongside developing as rugby players we also aim to help kids develop socially and many of the skills they gain from being involved with the club will be useful in later life. We are extremely grateful to Quintin, Michelle and their team not only for supporting our mini section but for the help we get throughout the year with other functions”.
Quintin Stevens of ‘The Storehouse’ added, “I have always enjoyed rugby and getting involved with Ross-Sutherland was a great chance to help grow the game in the Highlands. The age group I have sponsored is packed full of talent and I wish them all the best for the forthcoming season.”
The Club would also like to thank Brian Rollo and Fearn Farm, our new sleeve sponsors, for their continued support too. The new strips are replicas of our new 1stXV strip and as new sponsors come on board we will standardise across all age groups with this design.
