Ross-Sutherland Rugby Club are looking to recruit a Modern Apprentice Community Coach for the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.

Applicants should be aged between 16 and 19 and ideally hold a drivers licence, be working toward obtaining one, or have access to personal transport.

In the first year the successful candidate will complete a Level 2 SVQ in Sports Coaching including:

• First aid training
• Referee training
• Child protection training
• UKCC level 1 rugby union coaching
• Other development workshops to gain a broad depth of knowledge in the area of rugby coaching, some involving residential trips to Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.

The successful applicant can then apply to do the second year and can expect to achieve a UKCC Level 2 in coaching rugby union and gain a Level 3 SVQ in Leisure Management (of rugby coaching programmes in the community).

You will receive an allowance whilst undertaking this position.
This post will require an enhanced PVG (criminal record check) in accordance with regulations for working with and keeping Children safe.
