Tain Community Sport Hub – Collectively Developing Our Local Sporting Landscape
Following a consultation process the Planning Framework for the Tain Community Sport Hub has been updated and signed off by sportscotland.
(see attached)
The document reflects well the local need and ambition around sport and physical activity and it will continue to help make a positive impact on the local sporting community.
Darren Reid is Highlife Highland's Community Sports Hub Officer, and he had this message for clubs and the community:
"The project still fundamentally aims to help better support clubs to deliver quality sports provision to the local community and I urge member clubs to use the plan and the support mechanism to aid your club development.
Although the document will be overseen by our Tain Community Sport Hub working group the ownership of the plan firmly lies with the member clubs and the actions to deliver the plan are very much a collective effort. The plan is not a stagnant document so if it is not reflective of your needs please let me know and we can modify it as desired.
Thank you for making sport happen in your local community."
