Rotherham Clifton 1st XV Homepage
Rotherham Cliftons 1st XV currently competes in Yorkshire 5, having returned to the Yorkshire Leagues for the 2010-11 season.
In 2009-10 season, the club convincingly won the South Yorkshire Merit Table and then thought it time to return to the full league structure.
In their first season back in Yorkshire 5, the 1st XV showed a lot of promise, but finished a disapointing 8th.
Last season, the team showed an improvement on the previous year, both in performances and with their final league standing, as they finished 6th. The team also featured several players from the clubs Junior Colts, who had progressed through the clubs Junior system.
During the 2012/13 season, the club will be looking to push on by continuing to build on the successes of previous years and show continued improvements on the field.
