It was great to be back playing after Christmas and the 5th team continued on their recent improved form to fight back from being a goal down at half time to draw 1 – 1.

It was an entertaining first half with both teams playing good hockey. Rotherham players continued to adapt to the new playing formation but a slight lapse in defence let to Huddersfield taking the lead.

Rotherham started the second half with more determination and started to dominate the game and this resulted in a goal for Liam Bacon.

However more pressure did not produce a winner as the visitors defended stoutly.

The game finished early following a nasty injury to man of the match Thomas Downs (he is OK now but has a black eye).
