Rotherham 1st XI left the pitch feeling frustrated following a 1-1 draw with Leess Adel at home.

The first half was played with good pace by both sides although it was Rotherham who created the most chances. Dean Burrows found himself unmarked twice on the back post but was unable to convert either of the chances. 25 minutes in a a deflected shop by Connor Ward fell to Captain James Thomas who slapped the ball Past the Adel keeper.

Half time and Rotherham had a 1-0 lead.

The back 3 of Ricky Benton, Nick Chapman and Nick Wilson continued marking tightly in the second half and dealt with any attack the opposition had. What had been a game played without incident became heated in the final 15 minutes following a disagreement between teams on a umpiring decision. It was during this short spell Adel were able to counter attack catching Rotherhan off guard and score an equaliser.

The game ended 1-1 and the home side left the pitch dissappointed they hadn't took their chances.
