Corinths lost 1-0 today away to second placed Peterborough Sports in a game where their performance commanded at the very least a share of the spoils but they were denied this by a poor refereeing decision which gifted Sports a penalty that should never have been.

Corinths sit 10th in the Division One table with eight points, staying exactly where they were going into the game.

We return to action next Saturday (20th) when we entertain Rushden & Higham United at Sergeants Lawn, thus ending a run of five consecutive away fixtures. This game against "The Lankies" will be the return fixture between the sides. This, despite the fact that we are still in September and haven't played the vast majority of our league rivals once!!
