"The second game, and closing fixture to the RERL PSTC saw a strong Sapper side take on a hungry and powerful Warrior squad.

The Sappers defence was resolute throughout and where the Warriors produced some lovely 'backs' play, they found the Sapper Wall difficult to climb.

Aberdeen were boosted by an RERL old boy in Taniela Bakoso and the Sappers saw Indio Harland play in a Corps shirt for the final time.
The Sappers kept plugging away and some classy play in the coal face proved the difference."
