Chris Reeves is on the move to the RNRL Elite Squad Coaching Staff after two years as Academy Coach

When I put my name forward 2 years ago to become the RNRL (A) Head Coach I had one goal in mind, to give the players everything they deserved/needed to achieve their goals!
When I received the call from Locky to say I had been named as head coach I became instantly nervous & excited at the task ahead. During my tenure I have had many highs and lows but what has made the job so special for me is working with such a special group of people who are willing to do so much for each other on and off the pitch! All players and staff gave so much into the academy and even though we didn't have the final push this year to win the Inter Services; I am immensely proud of every lad who pulled on that jersey!
I think that the Academy are in a great place to push on next season without me but in the hands of Marc Warren who has seen at first hand working with me this year what a special bunch he is now looking after! I will be keeping a very close eye on the Academy and will be at every game I can to cheer them on, it's been an honour and a pleasure to have been the RNRL(A) Head Coach, thank you!
Stepping up to the ETS to work alongside Locky and with a bunch of high end individuals is certainly a new test for me which I am eager to get my teeth into! These boys don't even have to think when they are doing some of the things that they do around the park and it's going to be a great experience being involved! Hopefully, I can develop myself, the players and give another point of view when/if required!
Again, what a privilege to be involved with such a great group of men!
