Royston got off to a good start against Panthers with some good interceptions in the center third by Louisa and Georgie. Some excellent shooting by both Jen and Aalana, although Panthers were ahead throughout the quarter, despite good defending by Lauren, Steph and Chloe.

In the second half, Panthers switched their attackers and Royston's defence was much tighter. Royston dominated this half and many interceptions made all over the court. Once again, excellent shooting by Jen and Aalana and great feeding into the circle by Louisa and Georgie. The final score was 35-26 and despite the defeat, Royston played extremely well and came back much stronger in the second half.
