Royston Rugby Youth and Mini section took over Royston Tesco's last Saturday. Each age group turned up to help the local shoppers with thier bag packing. With very few brocken eggs or damaged loafs of bread the boys and girls worked very hard throughout the day.

The children who came along to the bag packing and worked hard were.

Many children were mentioned, pointed out by members of the public or Tesco staff to say they were polite,well mannered and overall excellent club representatives

We were approached by many members of the public who said that we should all be very proud of our young people today

We also took 11 names of children who are interested in joining the club and a couple of players for the senior section as well.

Many thanks to all those who supported this event and with over £600 raised and lots of new players it was well worth while.
