Lots of Learning

The Under 7s have continued their development over recent weeks visiting the fine cathedral cities of St. Albans and Ely.

On Sunday 15th November, Royston under 7s visited Old Albanians to participate in a triangular fixture with the home club and Saracens. This was the toughest test yet for our players. The coaches were very proud that all 4 mixed ability teams we put out more than held our own against prestigious opposition.

On Sunday 22nd November, we travelled up the A10 to Ely on a cold and frosty morning. We put three mixed ability team together, with at least one of the teams coming through the days fixtures unbeaten. We thanked our hosts for their hospitality. Ely are a really friendly club.

From there it was a short drive to a local bowling alley, for some fun family bowling action! Some of our players were upstaged by their younger brothers or sisters! Poor show guys! Thanks to Nina Kelly and Catherine Tallis for organising this.

Thanks to Jude Davis-Roach for washing the kit and to all the coaches for your on-going enthusiasm.
