Another massive win for Wellies lads
4 on the trot sees the first team climb yet another place in the table.
Ruthin win their fourth game in succession with a 4-1 win against Llanfair. Jordan MacCarter got Ruthin off to a flyer with a goal within 2 minutes and Ruthin dominated the first 10 minutes. Llanfair grew into the game and had a good spell when they hit the post and the impressive James Davies had a shot well saved by Dylan Jones in the Ruthin goal. Ruthin then hit the bar and the game was in the balance when Kevin Evans scored with a fine header from a corner just on half time. The 2-0 half time score flatered Ruthin and Llanfair came out in the second half with purpose. Garmon Hafal deflated the visitors scoring with a fine header at the far post from an excellent cross from Jordan Maccarter. To their credit Llanfair were not finished and James Davies, who had been a threat all game, gave them hope on the hour as he ran through to score. Both teams pushed forward but it was Craig Wilkinson who finished the game with a fine team goal on 71 minutes giving Ruthin another three massive points.
