Cancellations
Mark Shelton will be the single point of contact for the school to notify us of unavailability of facilities, or unsuitability for use on any day. Mark will then inform each affected Manager accordingly, by text and as soon as possible on receipt of notice from school.
The sessions have been block-booked for the club, and unless school cancels we will be charged, even if we do not turn up.
Any problems with using your slot at any given time should be notified to Mark Shelton as soon as possible and in good time. If you negotiate with another team to swap sessions, this should also be communicated to Mark, in order that the club knows who is using the facilities when.
Rules for Use of School Facilities – RVHS Code of Conduct
- The facilities must be vacated 10 minutes after the allotted time, and left in a clean, tidy and orderly state.
- All the property of each Team, including rubbish, should be removed at the end of the team’s session. The School does not accept any liability for any property left on the premises by the club.
- Each Team is only entitled to use the facilities booked as per the schedule above, and must not use equipment belonging to the School unless by prior agreement.
- Each Team is responsible for any damage to property/equipment/furniture occurring during their session. Any such should be reported to Mark Shelton as soon as possible as we, the club, will be liable for the cost of making good any such damage.
- Cars and any other vehicles to be parked in the School car park. All vehicles are parked at owner’s risk.
- The wearing of footwear likely to cause damage to floors is forbidden. Please ensure all participants have footwear appropriate for the surface (e.g. trainers on Astro & non-marking soles in the Hall).
- CODE OF CONDUCT Each Team AND parents attending sessions must at all times whilst on or around the School grounds conduct themselves in a responsible manner, as representatives of Ryburn United JFC. The School has adopted a "Code of Conduct" by which all visitors to the School facilities must abide. This is as follows:
- The use of racist, sexist and any other offensive language is forbidden.
- Litter must be placed in the bins provided. (If no bins provided e.g. playing field then litter must be taken away.)
- Parking allowed in car parks or surrounding roads but due attention must be paid to residents’ access.
- Whilst it is accepted that participating in sport generates noise it is politely requested that all efforts are made to keep noise to a minimum.
Any Ryburn United JFC Team (including parents of same) found to be in breach of any of these rules and subject of complaint from the School may be excluded from further use of the facilities, directly by the School and/or by the Club.
