Rye RFC has supported the local community for many years and continues to do so.
The club continues to support the local community with fund raising initiatives, supporting local schools with rugby specific coaching as well as organising rugby and non rugby competitions for county wide schools and clubs. We encourage the participation of males and females of all ages.
Rye RFC is a Model of Good Practice for its work in the community. For many years we have been working closely with Buckswood School, to deliver rugby and sports development programs within our local community. We co-host the annual Youth rugby competition which has now become a major event attracting the youth sides from clubs like Wasps. This competition is now leading many more schools into the Under 15 and Under 18 fifteen-a-side county competitions.
