The second half was tight throughout and hallmarked by a rash of penalties. Rylands took advantage of repeat sets to make it 10-8 with a well worked try from Jack Lewis. Once again Jude's replied with one of their best drives of the day, which ended with several swift play the ball and Nathan Bevan sending in Riley to make it 14-8. A try from Rylands Rob Campbell converted by Jack Lewis took us into extra time. The slickest move of the game was chalked off when the referee ruled that Matty Ashurst had shaved the line while touching down.
While Tom Breheny looked to have won it for Jude's only to be pulled up for a double movement during the golden point.
Rylands were then held up over the try line.
