Match Reports

HARTLEPOOL RFC

Pool round off the season in style with a win at home to second placed WB Rockliffe

The defeat makes Whitby favourites to grab the second promotion place but they must first beat both Sunderland and Bishop Auckland to pip Rockliffe.

Sunderland beat Pool in thriller and end promotion aspirations.

In the penultimate game of the D&N campaign, Sunderland avenge the early season defeat at Mayfield Park.

Pool remain in 4th after 51-12 win over Sedgefield

Adam Ainley was "on fire" for Pool with four tries as they secure bonus point win to keep the pressure on Whitley Bay Rockliffe and Whitby.

Rockcliff RFC

Rock finish the season in style

A scintillating performance from a much changed Rock team produced a feast of running rugby scoring 9 tries on a rock hard pitch in front of the travelling Rock Ultras

WBR 19 Acklam 19

Battle royal at neighbours ground, nothing separating them, but will both teams be in the same league next season ?

Clash of the Titans

2 of the leagues contenders for promotion waged war on a typical Northumbrian spring day, cold and lashing rain, and Rock surprised many by coming out on top in a tough well fought encounter.

Acklam R.U.F.C.

Bishop Auckland 6 points v Acklam 49 points

The undefeated League Champions finish their season in true Champions fashion with another convincing win.

Acklam 99 points v Ryton 7 points

Talbot Park was bathed in glorious sunshine as Acklam played some scintalating rugby to score 15 tries in their last home game of the season.

Acklam 66 Richmondshire 17

In a patchy performance in difficult conditions Acklam were still able to play enough quality rugby to win a resounding victory over Richmondshire.
