The tournament was played out in glorious sunshine, as spectators juggled Ice-cream, sunblock and hastily purchased baseball caps.

Unfazed by the seasonally warm weather, Charlie, Oliver, Rex, Will, Toby and Alex set about their task with gusto. 10 months of playing together culminated in a blistering performance from the team. There was some wonderful individual running and try saving defensive dives, however the games were won by the rock solid team work displayed throughout. The team defended as a line (non shall pass) and attacked with the verve and organisation of a Roman legion.

After one game, the coach from the other team commented, 'I've been trying to get my team to run a line like that all season....how have you managed it?'

A wonderful performance by the team, who won all of their games, and excellent support as ever by the parents, traveling fans and to Coaches Andy and Jason.

A fitting end to a glorious season.
