Things are hotting up at the top

Sale Men's 1s arguably played their best game of the season against Neston winning 5-2. Another hatrick from Neil Blackburn was a highlight as well as some great passing hockey. They now only need 3 more points to win the league title.

The Men's 2s had a long away trip to Colwyn Bay which ended in a 2-2 draw 2 goals for Ian Ellis increasing his tally for the season. They have an outside chance of finishing in the top 2 places.

The Men's 3 strolling to the title 2 weeks ago are now on the same points as local rivals South Manchester Hockey club with a potential title decider scheduled for the last game of the season.

The Mens 4s had a lot of players missing as they are performing a rendition of the Musical HMS Pinafore (if you would like to go, see Rosy for details)as a result lost 5-1 away to Golbourne.

The ladies 1s lost to local rivals Bowden and the 2nds and 3rds games were cancelled.

In other news Avril Tucker turned 40 this week and her horrible Orange shirt was replaced with a Beautiful yellow one. Life now begins for young Avril as her hockey career is seemingly looking up.
