Christmas comes early for Sale's top teams
The Men's 1s, 2s and Ladies 1s all had emphatic wins.
The Men's 1s were playing away at Triton and won 0-6. The Ladies 1s also won away against Wrexham 1-4 and returned to the top of the league. The Men's 2s won 3-0 at home to South Cheshire with a very encouraging performance. The ladies 2s & 3s had no league game and the Men’s 3s fixture was called off due to a frozen pitch. The Men’s 4s played a very experience Crewe side and despite Captain Mark Wells scoring a well worked short corner found themselves 1-6 down at half time. In the second half they regrouped playing some much better hockey, and only conceding 1 further goal.
