Even though it's not officially hockey season Sale have not been resting on their Cheshire Div 1 winners medals!
The older ladies ( over 35s) have taken part and WON the annual and extremely fun but very serious Timperley Veterans 7 a side hockey tournament. Dressed as the British Cycling team for the Rio Olympic theme.

Some of the younger Sale hockey club members have had fun and came SECOND playing with their summer touring side, 'Youngstars' in the Armitage Hockey festival.

Also we have mixed age and ability teams playing in two 7 a side leagues during the week. Both seem to be playing well and using this 'off season' Funtime to keep up fitness, welcome new players and try out new skills and combinations.
Sales 1st team are looking forward to their season in the North Prem Div 2 starting September 2016.
