Sale teams perform quite well
The Ladies 2s & 3s pick up good wins as do Sale Men's 3s
The Ladies 2s won 3-2 despite being down to 10 people midway through the second half. With Danni already off injured Christina picked up a nasty hand injury as well. However Fox scored her customary goal from 3 inches. The Ladies 2s are 3rd in the league. The Men’s 3s kept their 6 point gap at the top of the division with a 4-3 win away from home again the team had a number of injuries during the match with players hobbling around the pitch just to finish the game with 11. The Ladies 3s had a good 3-2 away win at Chester. The Men's 1s increased their lead at the top of the division to 7 points with a disappointing 1-1 draw however 2nd place Crewe lost so not disastrous. The Men's 2s had an entertaining 1-1 draw with Chester with a goal from Ian Ellis. The Men’s 4s Drew 0-0 at home to Wilmslow both sides playing a determined not to lose attitude. Finally the Ladies 1s lost in the most entertaining game of the day 6-5 Sale taking the lead 5 times before eventually getting overhauled.
