Josh Hine

Previous clubs: Southport, Burscough, Vauxhall Motors, Clitheroe, Skelmersdale United, Warrington Town, Chorley
Biography: Josh joined Salford from Chorley for an undisclosed fee in January 2016 and scored on his debut, grabbing the first goal in a 2-0 win over Buxton.

Pacey and strong, Josh can operate either as a striker or right-winger and started out with home town club Southport.

Josh was already an established name when he moved to Skelmersdale and his goals were key during their 2012-2013 Evo-Stik League First Division North title. A move to Chorley followed in the summer of 2013 and Josh was celebrating again at the end of that season as he scored two goals during the win over Buxton that clinched promotion to the Conference North.

Since then Josh has performed well and scored consistently at Level Two of the non-league game and his signing underlined Salford's ambitions to climb the footballing ranks.

An impressive start to his time at Moor Lane yielded 5 goals from the first 9 games but Josh was hampered by injury for the rest of a season that ended with promotion won via the play-offs.
