Saltney Town FC was formed in 2010. We are a forward thinking ambitious Football club based in Saltney, Chester. With two senior sides, a youth team and a growing Colts section, we are in a strong position in terms of membership. We enjoyed plenty of success in our first season winning the Welsh National League Division 1 Cup and the prestigious NEWFA Horace Wynne Cup. This season our 1st XI will be competing in the Welsh National League Division One. On the surface of it we are well placed to achieve our ambition to be playing premier Division Football in 2012/13.
Additionally, I feel I should mention our fantastic disciplinary record. We are 100% committed to creating an environment where attractive football can thrive. The club is incredibly important to the local community and we see setting the right example as more than just a principle - It's a social responsibility.
However, like so many grass roots sports clubs, we are desperate in need of investment. If prevailing economic conditions weren’t challenging enough, we have the additional challenge of Flintshire County Council increasing the cost of leasing our facilities. Our annual subscriptions and match fees cover pitch hire and league fees but there’s not much left to invest in anything else. We are, if you like, running to stand still
I am writing to you today in the hope that you might want to be involved in the future of our club. Sponsoring anything from match-balls to a new kit will make a huge difference to us. Depending on the size of your sponsorship, we can offer you advertising space on our website, a pitch-side hoarding, or in our future match-day programmes. You might wish to put your name on our shirts or indeed some of our training apparel. Most significantly, we’ll be looking to tie-in your business with club events. For example, local restaurant owners could be guaranteed 20+ hungry footballers paying them a visit. Why not show your support for your favourite player by sponsoring them for the 2012/2013 season? Sponsorship costs £60 and the money the players raise pays for a proportion of their playing kit for the season as well as contributing to the clubs development. In return you will feature on the player’s homepage at www.saltneytownfc.co.uk along with your logo, description and active link to your own website.

The installation of the safety barrier at their Sandy Lane pitch has created an excellent opportunity for local business to become associated with Saltney Town FC. The hoardings will be positioned around the pitch perimeter with each panel will being 2440mm x 610mm (8ft x 2ft) and constructed form aluminium composite to give a hard wearing durable sign. These panels will be covered by a printed media to give a stunning, high impact advertisement in full view of the spectators and local press.
