Samurai Barracudas Kick Off Super 7s Series At Rugby Rocks
This Saturday sees the Samurai Barracudas open their account on the Super 7s Series at the Rugby Rocks tournament in Richmond.
This Saturday sees the Samurai Barracudas open their account on the Super 7s Series at the Rugby Rocks tournament in Richmond. This is the inaugural tournament for this new series and the Barracudas are delighted to be a core team and a key part of rugby sevens development in the UK.
The squad has only just been finalised and the players meet tonight for the first time under coach Kevin Brennan and managers John Elliot and Mark Dean. Claire McLoughlin once again takes the reins as physio giving the whole management team a very familiar look to it.
The Series this year will be sponsored by Norwich based firm ULR who also sponsor the Premier 7s at Bury St Edmunds RFC in May. The winner of Rugby Rocks will win a place in the Vauxhall Middlesex Charity 7s at Twickenham.
