We take our obligation to preserve, protect and personal information seriously. Respect for individuals’ personal data is critical to the service we provide and the responsibilities we owe to you as players, members and supporters of the Hurricanes. This notice explains how we use personal information we may hold about you.
The Club holds personal data to meet your requirements for annual membership and player registration which includes: your name, email address, home address, telephone numbers, date of birth, next of kin and direct debit details.
The lawful basis to hold this information is to provide annual membership to the Sandown & Shanklin RFC. These records are used mainly for subscription monitoring. The Club will process and protect data in accordance with the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation. Any data held within the organisation will be held for the benefit of the member and effective management of the organisation. We do not pass, sell or trade the information for profit or gain.
As part of your membership we will keep you informed of any events and send you information pertaining to the Club. Likewise captains, coaches and committee members need are required to contact players regarding match availability and all issues regarding playing and the Club.
You have the right to access any data we hold about you and you can request the removal of this data once your membership has ceased.
