The under 11 side got their Collinson cup campaign off to a great start with a resounding victory over an inexperienced Bradshaw side.
Winning the toss and batting first, openers Dan Hill and Henry Lamper
both made 25 before 'retiring'. Dan Brock and then Charlie Conway followed suit and with the extras also contributing a final score of 151 for 0 off 20 always looked to be a big ask for the opposition.
This proved to be the case as Bradshaw ended on 51 for 8 off their allocated overs. The vast majority of these were courtesy of extras conceded by SBCI with only 9 runs coming off the bat. We will be looking to minimise these in our next outing.
A special mention to Rhys Newton, Alfie Coup and Joe Smith who were all making their U11 debuts. All three contributed to the team very well with all three bowling, the highlight being Rhys bowling three overs taking one wicket without conceding a run.
Well done boys.
