Stour tamed by Tynedale

It was hard to believe that barely 4 months’ ago Stour had secured a rare away victory at Tynedale’s Corbridge ground with a wonderful display of attacking rugby.

Stour suffer in Hinckley heat

Local knowledge proved key as Hinckley delivered a game plan suited to their hard, sloping pitch. Stour look sharp at times but couldn’t sustain the intensity for 80min and eventually came away with little more than a suntan for their afternoon's work.

Stour outgun Otley in tryfest

With the 2nd half barely started Stour had cruised to a 31-0 lead and secured a bonus-point, but the visitors’ late rally did enough to take the gloss off the performance if never threatening the lead.
