On a cold bright morning the Stormers took the short trip to the seaside to play Cleethorpes in 3x20 minutes sessions.
Scunthorpe took the starting kick which Cleethorpes caught and took forward until Craze came in with a tackle, the ball found the hands of Osborn and then Lythgoe who was tackled, Stevens took the ball from the ruck and passed over to Dawson. A penalty awarded to Cleethorpes was caught by Barrett who took the ball forward before passing over to Osborn who took the ball forward and placed it down safely under the posts to score the first try of the game. Cleethorpes kick was caught by Dawson who took the ball forward before passing over to Stevens who dodged through the Cleethorpes defence. From a scrum Ingram took the ball passing to Osborn who ran the ball forward before passing to Murray-Auckland who placed the ball safely over the try line. Cleethorpes kick was caught by Hall and from a scrum Scunthorpe won the ball against the head passing out to Horwell who ran down the wing to score a try. Cleethorpes kick was caught and passed out to Lythgoe who ran it down the wing before being tackled, a penalty awarded to Cleethorpes saw them tap and go passing the ball down the line before a big tackles by Osborn and Lythgoe slowed them down and allowed Osborn to steal the ball back, a penalty to Scunthorpe allowed the ball to pass through the hands of Horwell, Stevens D, Murray-Auckland before reaching the hands of Craze who ran in the try. Cleethorpes kick was caught by Barrett who passed out to Lythgoe who took off at pace down the wing before being tackled, from a ruck Dawson took the ball passing out to Ingram then Osborn who was tackled allowing Barratt to collect the ball before linking with Craze. A penalty was awarded to Cleethorpes but Stevens stole the ball passing over to Horwell who danced through the Cleethorpes defence but the whistle was blown before he could make anything of it

Cleethorpe took the kick with Stevens L collecting it and taking it forward before being stopped by a tackle, from a scrum the ball was collected by Horwell who passed to Stevens D and then to Osborn who delivered the ball safely over the try line. Cleethorpes kick was caught by Hall who took the ball forward before being tackled from the ruck Horwell collected passing out to Craze who made a huge run forward before passing out to Kelly who was taken down by a tackle, Cleethorpes picked up the loose ball before Barrett stole it back passing out to Stevens then Osborn, Cleethorpes took the ball from a scrum and decided to kick but Osborn was on hand to catch the ball passing out to Craze and then to Kelly who sprinted over the try line to score. Cleethorpes kick was caught by Bradwell who passed over to Craze then Stevens L who linked play with Lewis D and Kelly who was tackled, Conroy came in to collect the ball passing back across the pitch to Warburton then Dawson and finally to Murray-Auckland on the wing who made the final few metres over the line to score. Murray-Auckland collected the Cleethorpes kick before being tackled Conroy collected the ball from the ruck passing over to Barratt who was tackled. From a scrum which Scunthorpe again won against the head Horwell collected the ball passing out to Conroy and then out to Barratt, another scrum was awarded but this time Cleethorpes got the ball out and made some ground before Scunthorpe stole the ball back Horwell made some ground before being tackled but with Warburton in quickly to support the ball came out and once again found the hands of Osborn who skipped through the opposition to score.

The final 20 minute session started with a Scunthorpe kick quickly followed by a scrum to Cleethorpes who won the ball but made very little of it thanks to a tackle by Warburton, the ball was passed out to Christer who was tackled from a scrum the ball went to Stevens D who made some ground before passing over to Murray-Auckland before he was tackled and Cleethorpes stole the ball and headed towards their own try line from another scrum the ball came out to Stevens D then out to Murray-Auckland and finally to Conroy who made the run ¾ of the pitch dodging tackles to score a try. Cleethorpes replied by fighting through tackles to score 2 consecutive tries. In the final few minutes Scunthorpes kick was chased and caught by Christer who passed over to Stevens D with support from Kelly the ball was collected by Conroy and then passed over to Osborn who ran in a try just before the final whistle.
