REPORT

Seaford 2 Storrington 1. Avery decent and enjoyable match and one in which, after a hard battle, the Seaford lads earned a good 3 points. In truth Storrington started the brighter of the two sides but rarely troubled our defence and as the game developed it was clear both defences were on top .So no surprise at half time a score of 0-0..At the start of the second half Seaford showed more intent going forward and their attacking play was much improved .On the 60th minute Bilal came on for Billy Pout with Buckett moving back into his normal midfield roll. But out of the blue Storrington broke away and went 1 up in the 67th min .So what reaction would that bring. Well totally positive was the answer .The lads upped their game again and despite several stoppages due to injuries completely dominated the last 30 mins of the match.Several chances were created and finally we drew level with a goal from Craig Pooley..This gave the team another lift and on 85 Ahmed Shaker scored the winner with a great strike which sailed over the head of the opposition keeper into the top corner of the net. There may have been a slight bit of luck with the second goal but the attempt deserved the goal.
An all round good performance and good 3 points. squad webb
