The best way to keep up to date with Seaford Town FC

In response to Lord Johns comments re Under 21 side .It is a shame that the club ,like many others, is failing to attract lads in the 18 to 21 age range that have the desire to play football at their age levels .In fairness we have several who are always ready to play but very few. .I can only wonder why players who are under 21 sign on and do not then play .Do they expect to be automatically chosen for first team squad because that can only happen if they are good enough .Seafords first team squad this year has included several young players eg webb ,wilkinson .griffiths, colville etc so there are opportunities to progress if good enough and committed.Again times have changed .Lads are staying on at school or go off to college and many go off travelling and many now have to get jobs with unsociable hours so training once or twice a week and playing in many places where the facilities are poor seems to have lost the appeal it might have had 20 yrs ago.Its a shame but thats the way it seems to be . as ever just my thoughts ba
