Player Profile - Stephen Flood
Most people would worry if they woke up with a horses head at the end of the bed.....
Name: Stephen Flood aka Floody
Age: Old enough to still go to Burn Beach Club
Weight: Heavier than he looks
Position: Barrett or Doyle’s if he had his way
Biggest Inspiration: Ozzy and tight tops
Floody, on completing his SCT voyage was not ready to be weaned from Ozzy’s reassuring compliments thus resulting in him being dragged by the umbilical cord across the Borough to fields of Kilbo J. Quickly establishing himself in the first team, this enabled Nige to lavish further praise on his young protégé with numerous man o’ the match awards and disingenuous comments such as ‘it’s not about size, it’s about heart, look at Floody’. One of his best performances in club colours ironically took place off the field at the 75th Anniversary Dinner where, after a what can only be described as a suspicious entrance, considerable horseplay ensued thereafter with Floody treating a lucky few to his best impression of Sea the Stars. An uncompromising player with a die for the cause attitude Floody optimizes the spirit within the team in the 09/10 season to date.
