After a promising start to the season, the u11's have been brought back to earth with 2 big thumping defeats by our Lancastrian neighbours Preston Grasshoppers & Fylde Rugby. I wasn't available for the Preston defeat but I was told it was a performance which lacked drive and heart which isn't like the young tigers!

The following week saw us take another trip up the M6 to rivals Fylde. After poor preparation in turning up late to the fixture, the Tigers had little time to warm up and this showed during the game.

Straight from the kickoff fylde looked the more dangerous side and scored 32 un answered points in the first half.

After a half time rolocking the Tigers showed spells or their early season form but couldn't stop the more powerful side from scoring more points. After conceding 50 points the Tigers never gave in and with clock counting down, power house Greg Gilbert ran down the wing to dive in the corner. Unfortunately Tom Smith missed the conversion to end the game.
