After the comprehensive beating of Coniston, there were some deserving performances worthy of mention in helping us to achieve the victory. Firstly, the fielding performance was exceptional with plenty of catches being taken. Only 20p to add to the catches kitty from Chris Berry and I can't remember a misfield.

The bowlers set us on our way to victory and the man of the match performance deservedly goes to Keith Dixon for his outstanding performance. I had to give it to him anyway since I took him off before he was able to get a 5 for.

Other outstanding performances worthy of note from all the other bowlers including Jonny Matthews and batting from Kevin Williams, since he outscored me! (Big surprise!)

Thanks also to Paul Dew for his observational skills alerting us to the potential distractions over by the pavilion boundary, ensuring that we remained focussed.

Lets see if we can have more names in the frame when we come up against BLS.
