The End Of An Era

by Ste Downing

April 1st will go down in history as the day the Undertaker went 20-0 at wrestlemania in an end of an era match, but its also the end of the road for sefton senior colts as this might of been their last game together as they were thrashed 38-18 at home to preston they took an early 5-0 after Joey Greenway crossed in the opening minute but shortly went behind after good work from the preston backs but the colts took the lead and they went 11-7 up at half time after two penalty kicks from adam marnells boot he then inspired the second try with a mazing run set up Andrew Scully to go over under the sticks they were 18-7 up but concentration dwelled and they conced three tries within 10 minutes the result was sealed with a last minute try from the preston winger after a sliced clearence kick.

Bob is now trying to organise a friendly match between last years colts an this seasons colts and former players from that squad the match could be penciled in for may 5th that will be confirmed shortly if you are interested let Bob know or myself
