Membership Direct Debit online - Explained

The club is now pleased to offer all the members a new and simple way of paying their membership and match fees all in one go.
By simply going on line and visiting the club website and following the links you will come to the direct debit membership link.
The club have engaged the services of First Capital Cashflow (F.F.C) who are a company who sets up systems to specifically collect memberships for organisation like ourselves. F.F.C was introduced to Sefton by the RFU at a county development workshop last season.
The idea is to calculate what you would be expected to pay over the season and then divide the amount over the twelve months period.
This is an example of what a senior employed player would be expected to pay.
The membership is now £40 per season.
On average a player will play 30 games a season at £5.00 per game for match fees
£5.00 x 30 = £150
£150 (Match Fees) + £40 (membership) = £190 per year.
£190 divided by twelve months = £15.83 per month
The club has kindly decided to round the figure up to £16.00 per month, only to keep the figures tidy.
There are many benefits to this scheme including better financial planning, increased revenue and with all the money collected the club can claim gift aid on certain amounts.
From a membership point of view all you have to do is set up the direct debit mandate, and then enjoy your rugby!!
On match day all you will need to bring along is your kit, beer money (only if you are a senior player) and possibly your bus fare home.
This system will also make it a lot easier for the Captains on match day as they will not have the added pressure of collecting match fees on the day.
Our captains are always busy on match days so what ever we can do to assist them must be done!
This system will be the primary means of payment for the Gunners section. If this method of payment was not suitable to an individual then a one off payment for the full amount for the season would be expected. As always if there are any extenuating circumstances regarding the issue of membership payment then the it can be discussed in a confidential manner with the team manager, membership secretary or myself.
The Gunners membership for the season has been set at £7.00 per month and £10 per month with families having more that one child playing for the club. This system has been set up primarily for the Gunners but it is also open to senior members if they wish to take this route.
I would urge you all to ensure that you have completed the direct debit mandate form before the start of the season!

If anyone has any questions regarding this scheme then please drop me a line via the club website or give me a call on 07809 375 033
Cheers.
