Not exactly as quick off the mark as I should be but here goes...

First of all it's been great to see so many children coming to the sessions. We are committed to focusing on the development of all players and will try to make sure that those who have joined us this year get the chance to develop basic skills before we throw them into too much complexity.

Every child will be given every opportunity to progress at a pace which is appropriate for them and we hope that parents will appreciate that we will always make decisions on this basis.

Fundamentally we want to have some fun, learn some new skills and develop strong friendships amongst the group. We all have a contribution to make to achieving those aims and I would urge you all to read the Code of Conduct supplied by the club.

Finally, thank you to those who have already given their time to help us get this far and thank you in advance to those of you who will helping in whatever way you can this season!
