FIRE AT THE CLUB

Well not quite what you were thinking......

Its Selby RUFC 2nd annual bonfire night on the 2nd November 2013

The bonfire will be lit from 6:30pm and the fireworks, yes fireworks, start from 7:30pm.

There will also be Live bands and entertainment around the club with hog roast and a sweet stall for the kids.

Everyone welcome members and non members with free entry, members remember your club membership cards.

There will be very limited parking so please where possible dont come in the car.

The railway gates at Thorpe Willoughby are currently open so the bus service will pass the end of the road. The 403 bus will leave the bus station in town at 17:45 so if you can, catch this down to the club and leave the car at home.

You grumpy old bugger. Have you paid your membership Dave and got your membership card for your 5% off?

The family bonfire was great last year, but I HATE fireworks, see them as a total waste of money. I hope the cost of the fireworks have been sponsored, because i wouldn't like to think my membership fees were being used for this purpose.

just to clear things up dave, last year we had after the event a lot of "why wasn't there any fireworks" and "will there be fireworks next year" first we asked the club they came to same conclusion as you "there are better ways to spend that cash" so we as in the people organising it have dipped into our own pockets to put on hopefully a good little display, everything else is same apart from there will be fantastic hog sarnies available this year
