Sharks Flying the Flag in Europe
Following the 4-1 demolition of TSV Seulingen, Sharpness have a better European record than Barcelona, Manchester United, Milan and Bayern Munich.
Goals from Webber, Ponting, Frankham and Palmer secured a 100% winning record for the Sharks abroad.
A hostile local crowd were subdued early in the proceedings when faced with an emotional and committed version of 'God Save the Queen', led by skipper Paterson and local heartthrob Ryan Collard.
Early German efforts came to nothing, but the Sharks were struggling to adjust to the infamous Jabulani ball.
An even contest shifted in the Sharks' favour when Webber powered home a header from a yard out. Seulingen equalised within a minute, but the away side weren't to be denied, keeping good shape for the remainder of the game.
Limited to a couple of shooting chances, the German side became frustrated with Jimmy Wright on the receiving end of a brutal shoulder charge from Seulingan skipper Mathias.
Friendship was restored after the final whistle with beer and schnitzel on tap.
