SHEERS LOOSE FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON
The Sheers lost their final game against Knaphill 1-2 at the stadium.
Toni Perri should have put the home side in front side footing passed the post just after a good shot from Marcus Slimane which was saved by Richard Shelly. The Sheers were in control of the match but then allowed Chris Fox a free run up-field and then failed close him down as he hit a shot from 25 yards into the bottom left hand corner to give the Knappers the lead on 29 minutes. Sheers were rightly level on 41 minutes after good work from Matt Charker and finished off by Marcus Slimane.
In the second half the sheers were guilty of loosing possession from a throw in and the ball was in the net on 55 minutes from Ricky Hogsden to score the Knappers winner to keep their hopeful promotion alive.
The Mighty Sheers Reserve team were triumph at Mole Valley winning the match 2-3 with two goals from Jak Harper and a goal from Alex Hutton that now makes him the clubs leading scorer on 13 goals
