Sheers score one of the quickest goals

Saturday 2nd December, Sheerwater 5 - 1 AC London
The Sheers got off to a great start with one of the quickest goals scored which came from Heggers long throw into the box that ACs keeper fluffed it and Shane Rideout touched it home for Sheers 1-0.Sheers performance even got better as 2 more goals were scored and once again AC were prone to the Heggers long throw in the 3rd minute that found Chris Machay at the far post to glance home his header for 2-0, on 6 mins the Sheers went 3-0 up as a Sheers free kick came into the box for Shane Rideout to score. On 17mins on another Sheers attack Shane Rideout got got his shot on target that ACs keeper parried and an AC defender had to clear the ball off the line as it was creeping in. On 20 mins ACs real chance came with a curling shot that went pass the far post. This became a good pell for AC as they started to play well and create chances. 22mins Sheers keeper Andy Rider had to save a shot on target then on 30 mins Acs no 9 Anoola went round Andy Rider but shot wide of the target. Again Anoola skimmed a shot across the face of the Sheers goal 2 mins later. ACs revival was then cut short on 40 mins as Shane Rideout was on goal but was pulled back by the AC defender so he was dismissed for denying a goal scoring opportunity, the resulting free kick on the edge of the box was then taken by Chris Machay whose left strike finds the near side of the goal to put Sheers 4-0 up. 37mins Andy Rider had to scramble the ball away from entering the corner of the net. AC then had a free kick on 43mins that was fired fiercely to the right top corner that brought out the save of the season as Andy Rider leapt from one side to the other side to claw the ball over the bar. HT 4-0.
With AC now down to 10 men was it all over for the visitors as the Sheers continued the play attractively, On 68mins a Sheers cross was headed away by a AC defender as Rideout was lurking to head home. 69 mins Rikki Letch powers forward and unleashes a shot that stings the AC keepers fingers. On 70 mins AC pulled a goal back when they caught the Sheers by takink the free kick quickly to the far side of the Sheers area to the unmarked Raul Silva who drove the ball into the near corner of the net for 4-1. 77 mins a free kick to AC went into the Sheers box that was finally got rid off by Toni Perri. 77 mins A good build up down the right was then delivered into the box, AC tried to clear but the ball fell to rushing in Scott O'Connor who completely missed the ball, then Rideout fired in that was blocked and the ball fell into Chris Machay's path who made no mistake firing high into the net to complete his hat trick. 85 mins Rikki Letch lays in Robbie Wilson but he shoots over the bar.
With both substitutes now on for the Sheers, new signing George Dore and Josh Bowden, the latter deliverers a great cross field pass to Shane Rideout who has his shot block and Robbie Wilson fires on target and again AC manage to block his effort too. 89 mins free kick to the Sheers, Shane Rideout tamely shoots towards goal. 90+1 Josh Bowden then finds Chris Machay who fires just past the post.
A really good team performance today from the Sheers.
